The Power of Indie has been an idea that we’ve wanted to share with our community for a long time. Back in 2017, when we first started the music blog Indie Top 39 and shared our first reviews and playlists of independent music we had no idea that our platform was going to grow so much and reach so far.
Since that time, we have built relationships with independent artists across the globe, from countless genres and backgrounds and we’ve witnessed the lofty highs and hard-hitting lows that these artists face when pursuing a career in the music industry.
That’s where the idea for The Power of Indie started. With so much new talent coming through and knocking on our door, we found ourselves in the unique position of being able to offer advice and assistance as well as making introductions and being the catalyst for collaborations.
It continues to be a privilege to see new talent come through and launch their projects, but with that, we also have a very good insight into the most common mistakes, struggles and challenges indie artists face, and that’s where we want to help.
