TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND PRIVACY:

In registering for The Power of Indie Virtual 2021 Music Conference (the Event), attendees and speakers agree to the following terms and conditions:

Privacy

The Power of Indie Ltd. has a comprehensive Privacy Policy to be followed for any information provided to The Power of Indie Ltd.

Specifically, your contact details will be used to compile an attendee list that will be used by The Power of Indie Ltd. organisers; sponsors; and parties associated with related events.

If you are a speaker, your presentation documents may be loaded to The Power of Indie Ltd. website, a third party website such as Vimeo, Podia or provided to attendees to view after the event.

Should you not wish for your details to be used for these purposes, please contact The Power of Indie Ltd. at hello@thepowerofindie.com at least one week prior to the event.

Photography and Recording

I irrevocably authorise and grant The Power of Indie Ltd. the right to:

• Record me (picture and voice) on photographs, film and/or videotape, for audio and visual production (the Recording)
• Edit the Recording into a photo gallery / short film/webinar (which may include other recordings and material);
• Use my name and likeness, voice or other information concerning me; and
• Screen or place online (including on social media) the Recording.

I hereby release The Power of Indie Ltd. from any infringement or violation of personal and/or property rights of any sort whatsoever based upon the use of the Recording. I acknowledge that The Power of Indie Ltd. owns and shall own all rights, title and interest (including copyright) in the Recording.

I further acknowledge that The Power of Indie Ltd. is not obliged to use the Recording.

I warrant that I have full power to enter into this Release and that the terms of this Release do not in any way conflict with any existing commitment on my part. I understand I will receive no monies for this Recording.

Whilst not obliged to do so, The Power of Indie Ltd. will consider any reasonable request not to use or to stop using a particular Recording. Such requests should be made in writing to dov@thepowerofindie.com

Should you not wish to grant The Power of Indie Ltd. these rights, please email Dov Zavadskis at dov@thepowerofindie.com at least one week prior to the event.

Disclaimer

At the time of registration, The Power of Indie Ltd. provided the most recent information available and the attendee and/or speaker accept that the content and/or the delivery of the event can change beyond the control of The Power of Indie Ltd. The Power of Indie Ltd. will not take any responsibility for any errors, omissions and changes to the program or content of the event. The Power of Indie Ltd. reserves the right, without penalty, to make changes as it deems necessary and in such situations, no refunds, or exchanges shall be made.

1. The Power of Indie Ltd. reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions without notice.
2. The Power of Indie Ltd. cannot control all content published or disseminated at the event. You may find other attendees’ or participants’ communications, graphics, audio files or other information inappropriate, offensive, harmful, inaccurate, dishonest or misleading and/or deceptive, however, you alone are solely responsible for your interaction with other attendees and agree to act responsibly and exercise caution, common sense and safety while in attendance at the event
3. The Power of Indie Ltd., agents and affiliates shall not be liable for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims or expenses whatsoever arising out of or referable to the event.

Registration

If a person is registering on behalf of an attendee/s, it is the responsibility of that person to notify the attendee of the terms and conditions of registering, for which they will be agreeing to on the behalf of the attendee. Responsibility also includes providing full details of the attendee’s registration details as confirmed.

Cancellations

Registrations are non-refundable however we are happy to facilitate name changes in those situations if your name wasn’t yet added to Airmeet platform. Orders can be edited for this purpose or email us at support@thepowerofindie.com. Tickets, less booking fees, will only be refunded in the event of event cancellation. The Power of Indie Ltd. accepts no liability for additional costs incurred by attendees. The Power of Indie Ltd. reserves the right to refuse attendance to any attendees who have not paid registration in full.

Indemnity

Should, for any reason outside the control of The Power of Indie Ltd., the venue or speakers change or the event be cancelled, The Power of Indie Ltd. will endeavour to reschedule. In this instance, the attendee will indemnify and hold The Power of Indie Ltd. harmless from and against any and all costs, damages and expenses. The Power of Indie Ltd. does not accept responsibility for and the attendee indemnifies The Power of Indie Ltd. against, any costs, charges or fines incurred by the attendee in the process of attending the event.  This agreement is subject to the laws of the United Kingdom and agreement to these terms and conditions and registration to the event indicates acceptance of this indemnity.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all attendees take out personal travel and medical insurance prior to attending the event. The policy should include loss of fees through cancellation of your participation or through the cancellation of the event itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Power of Indie Ltd. will not take any responsibility for any attendee failing to insure. All attendees and speakers attend the event of their own free will and discretion.

Force Majeure

The Power of Indie Ltd. shall not be liable for damages or any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.
